I like to walk down memory lane just as much as anyone, so when I saw this on a friend's blog, I couldn't resist! It's simple. It's easy. And it takes almost no time at all. Try it, you'll like it!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot - or even if you know me at all. Maybe THIS is our first memory together! :) (In which case, welcome to my patio of the blogging world!)
2. Next, re-post this on your blog. I'll comment back on memories of you and we will both have made someone's day!

3 opinions you just have to share:
I'm supposed to come up with one memory. Only one. Let me think about it for awhile.
ok. so I will take a random memory and daily (if I remember) will just post, until perhaps, I run out.
And in no particular order (whether that be not-chronologically or non-importance)
(1) The time that you and I met up, after you randomly (well maybe not really seeing that the now-Hubby lived here) to the Big City where I randomly (well not really because I only applied to one school) decided to go to law school, at a Starbucks in the trendy shopping district. Even though I hadn't seen you since your college graduation (and we had that little falling out which was my fault) which was almost 2 years, nothing had changed. And then I spilled my huge coffee on my brand new white corduroy skirt
(and it was cute even though it was corduroy). And everyone else in the Starbucks just stared versus actually handing me some napkins.
Still have the skirt, the stain came out, but probably haven't worn in it years.
I have a good oldie for ya.... we were in the 7th grade, Hedrick Middle School amd we had that "courtyard" time every day. You know, that area outside the cafeteria and the gym that is outdoors in the great ole Texas heat. So "our groupie", we got together in our normal spot (of course on the side of the building with the most shade) to chat and hangout, only this day was special. This is the day we decided to see who knew the most lyrics to "Shoop-a-doop" (if that is the name of it). The song by Salt'n Pepper. "Here I go, Here I go, here I go again. Girl, what's my weakness? Yeah, ok then. Chilln chillin, minding my business....".."shoop shoop a doop"..... you know you are singing along to it right now. That was so funny and I do remember it b/c we would take turns with our "white girl rap" to see who could sing the entire song. Not sure which one of us was "David Vertz's girlfriend" that week. But I do know we were all wearing our fav looney toon character shirt, short shorts, and colore keds. And you and I- we were sporting the ever trendy "goggle" bottle cap glasses!! LOL!!
Man...good times good times. That one went way back... I have some more new recent memories that are just as great if not better! =o)
